App walkthrough videos, behind the login too
ViralDub makes walkthrough videos of web apps, including the parts behind a login. Give the agent a demo account and a brief such as "show a new user creating their first invoice". It signs in off camera, tours the app in a real browser, narrates each step and delivers an edited video. Logged-in walkthroughs are on the Pro and Agency plans.
Key takeaways
- Credentials are validated off camera, redacted from logs and never sent to the AI model that drives the browser.
- The login screen never appears in the final video.
- Use a demo account with realistic data: the agent films what it finds.
- Multi-role tours (for example admin, then customer) are supported on Pro.
- Walkthroughs run up to 10 minutes on Pro and 15 minutes on Agency.
When a walkthrough video beats a written guide
Written help articles go stale quietly and don't show where to click. A short walkthrough per task shows the path and the result in one go, and is easy to remake when the interface changes: run the same brief again. Teams use them for onboarding emails, help-center articles, sales follow-ups and release notes.
- 1
Create a demo account
Fill it with realistic names, numbers and history. Avoid production accounts.
- 2
Write the task as the brief
"Log in as admin, invite a teammate, then show the teammate's first dashboard."
- 3
Pick length, language and capture
Smart capture (1.5 credits a minute) handles busy apps better; Max (Agency) is for complex ones.
- 4
Review and publish
Download the MP4 and embed it in the help article or onboarding email.

Frequently asked questions
Can ViralDub record an app that requires a login?
Yes, on Pro and Agency. Put demo credentials in the brief. They're validated before filming and the sign-in never appears in the video.
Is it safe to give the agent my login?
Credentials are redacted from logs and traces, never spoken or shown, and never sent to the model that controls the browser. Use a dedicated demo account all the same.
Can it show two user roles in one video?
Yes. Pro supports multi-role walkthroughs, for example an admin setting something up and a customer seeing the result.
What if my app blocks automated browsers?
Some sites with strict bot protection block the agent. If the walkthrough can't be filmed, the credits are refunded automatically.
