Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026. This policy explains the data ViralDub uses to operate accounts, billing, analytics, support, and video generation.
Information we collect
We collect account email addresses, plan and subscription details, credit balances, admin-managed notes, video job metadata (URLs, briefs, durations, processing traces), support messages, and first-party page analytics such as visited page, referrer, browser user agent, timestamp, and a locally generated visitor ID. If you import a brand kit, we store the logo, colours, font names and page screenshots taken from the URL you provide, so later videos can reuse them.
Free plan and abuse prevention
To grant one free allowance per person, we store a canonical form of your email address, the network range of your sign-up (the first three parts of an IPv4 address or a /48 IPv6 prefix — not your full IP address), and a random identifier stored in your browser. Sign-up may include a Cloudflare Turnstile human check, which processes browser signals under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We use these only to prevent abuse.
Login credentials for walkthroughs
If you include application credentials in a walkthrough brief, they are used only to sign in during that job. Credential values are redacted from job logs and traces, are never spoken in narration, and are not shown in the final video. Use dedicated demo accounts rather than production credentials whenever possible.
Information we do not intentionally collect
ViralDub does not intentionally store raw visitor IP addresses in its product analytics. Payment card details are handled by our payment providers (Polar as merchant of record, and PayPal for earlier subscriptions) and are never stored in ViralDub.
How we use information
We use information to generate demo and voiceover videos, enforce credits and plan limits, manage subscriptions, improve landing and pricing pages, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
Service providers
ViralDub uses infrastructure, AI model, email, and payment providers to deliver the service. To process a job, the relevant parts of your brief, screenshots and page content from the sites you ask us to demo, uploaded footage, documents and images, and generated scripts are sent to: Anthropic (Claude — planning, browsing, writing, motion design), ElevenLabs (voice synthesis and music) and Google (Gemini — fallback processing, music and, for some uploads, video understanding). Login credentials for walkthroughs are never sent to the model that drives the browser. Payments are processed by Polar and PayPal; transactional email by our mail server. ViralDub does not sell personal data and does not use your content to train AI models.
Retention
Account and billing records are kept while an account is active and as needed for business, tax, dispute, and security purposes. Generated videos, Motion projects and job artifacts may be cleaned up periodically; download and store your deliverables after each job. PDFs and images uploaded as Motion source material are deleted when the job finishes (images you chose to show appear in the video and its project files). Free-plan anti-abuse records are kept for up to 12 months.
Your choices
You can request account review, correction, deletion, or export by contacting support@viraldub.com. You can opt out of non-essential emails (tips and offers) with the link in any such email. Some records may need to be retained where required for security, billing, tax, or dispute handling.
